About 10 years ago I started using Serif software (PP8 I think) - and despite its irritations, learned to work with it and have bought upgrades every year since. 10 years on, the irritations have got worse, the software has stagnated and the core software appears to have become even less stable.
I've just installed WP-X6 - I assume Serif thinking that this should be a paid for upgrade is just a cynical prank.
Clearly, Serif won't be around in a couple of years time - so does anyone have recommendations for replacements?
