Trying to "convert" a site from WPX2 to WPX6 (been putting it off for ages because there's lots of legacy stuff that needs to be completely re-done...).
Started on the master pages; I found one of the built-in navbars whose design was really close to that of the old legacy "theme graphic" navbar. But at its default size it was too big and wouldn't fit in the space of the old navbar without "losing" buttons and showing the green alert.
In "edit navigation bar | "Appearance" tab, the control of "scale" starts at 100% - so I can make the whole thing bigger than the default, but not smaller. So I went into the button studio and edited the buttons, reducing their size to make them the same size as the ones in the original legacy navbar.
I now have a new navbar that looks and behaves pretty much like the original - but I am wondering if I have "missed a trick" and overlooked an easier way to make the whole navbar smaller?
Regards,
Richard
