It would be nice if Serif spoke up here and told us how they intend utilize the new CommunityPlus site exactly. I'm a matter of fact guy. I'm going to really draw this down into a nut shell from what I've read so far.
View a question, vote on that questions to give it "Me Too!" votes, the more Me Too votes a question gets that better chance it will get answered. You can improve a question by editing another person's question. You can make comments to the original questioner so they can improve their question. Then we get to the actual answer of a post. We vote on the relevance of the answers. Oh boy, we get to vote on the original poster's question. The poster will accept an answer from all that were replied to. Johnny, what does he/she get? 20 PlusPoints. Remember kids that ONLY ONE answer can be accepted. If a better answer is accepted later then the points awarded earlier will be deducted.
Is this real? Is this some little kids stuff? What games are they, Serif trying to play here? I bought WebPlus X6 to get work done NOT to be on a social site playing games to see how many points I can achieve. I'm new to this software so there is a steep learning curve. I search for key word items in the Forum and find one or two replies because it may be something not too many people had a question on, needed help with or I didn't search for the words they used in their post. Anyways, I found what I needed and it helped me out. How many votes would it get from the new system, one, two, none? I still needed the answer and appreciated the person who did answer it in the old forum.
So here is my take. Keep the old forum and let us use it as we have. Do what you want with this new site that's a social media, game playing, waste of my time.
