WebPlus X6: how to hide from the Search Engines

To hide a site-in-progress from the main SE bots, do I first go to Site Properties and then:

1. Enable "Create robots meta tags" and "Create search engine robots file (robots.txt)
2. disable "Index pages on ths site" and "Follow links from pages"

And then from each site page:
3. Disable "Override site search engine settings"

I know some bots may ignore, but it's the main ones I want to hide the site from until the site is complete.
