I eagerly awaited the launch of Webplus X7 with its "move towards" HTML5 and CSS.. having already highlighted the problem with the line height error in the CSS coding (day one of launch) I've learnt to use the work-around.
Next problem - when analysing my new website built with X7 using SEORCH I find my site is "down-graded" in SEO terms as there is no semantic mark-up found in my code.
Isn't the whole point of HTML5 that is makes use of semantic mark-up - but Webplus X7 doesn't use it, or even seem to offer the option to add semantic mark-up?
I'm trying to defend Webplus that I've been using since X4 but Dreamweaver just seems to offer me so much more.
