I have been asked to finish off a site that was abandoned half finished by someone else. This is a freebie, as it's in a good cause and for a friend. The site is in Wordpress at the moment, with a purchased theme, but it has a lot of extra code. I guess I could learn how to, but it would take ages, they hate the theme, so I thought I might be better off starting again with WP, which I do know how to use. Please tell me if I am being an idiot, but be gentle and explain!
They want the site to have the capabilities of this:http://www.netmums.com though it will not be exactly the same audience.
Specific items are forums, blog, location specific info, shop, Social media integration.
Could X6 do everything that this site can? I currently have X4, but would upgrade.
