Can anyone help me with a privacy statement for the use of cookies as I understand that all websites have to have this to comply with law.
I have added the following on my Contacts Page, before the choice of 2 buttons linking to forms to be completed for an "Email Reply" or a "Call Back":
"Privacy Statement:
All data entered onto either form will be sent in real time by Serif, directly to my personal email address and no data is stored on Serif web servers.
Your data will only be used by myself to communicate with you regarding the sale of my house and for no other purpose."
I think covers the use of personal data to be entered by the user, but my concern is that I have a Hit Counter on my site & I also intend to use Google Analytics when published.
Can anyone suggest a statement for the use of the cookies that these will use? One of the online WebPlus video tutorials said that there is a paragraph in Google Terms & Conditions - but can find it!!??SM:WACKO
