WebPlus X6: Forms: "If-then" options using multiple items?

Hi all,

This may be a bit advanced for WP, but I'll try anyway! :)

I have a little dog-club website that, once a year, collects a *lot* of club member awards data via a form, and the data is "nested" in that awards depend upon the dog organization from which the award comes.

It works like a charm using Serif Web Resources! (YAY!) But I'd like for the form to be a bit more automated, reducing the amount of data-crunching that I have to do on my end, and reducing the chances for user-input-error...

Is it possible to have a dropdown form list item to be dependent upon the selection on a previously-selected form item?

In other words, allow me an example: let's say that I choose "AKC" (American Kennel Club) on a dropdown list item on my form (which has a list of several dog organizations). Given that, then I would only be able to choose from selected AKC-specific form items from AKC-specific selected items on the dropdown listbox.

I hope that this is understandable... it is an "if-then" type of selection situation.

Or is there some way to produce sub-dropdown items on a dropdown listbox? I've seen such things on other commercial websites, but I don't know if WP can handle that degree of form complexity.

I'd love to hear from the gurus here whose posts I read and whose knowledge I trust! Thanks so so much for any sorts of insight along this line! I'd love to get to know how to work with form submission data in an advanced way... especially using WP if at all possible!

Thanks! Doug Whitehill
