I have a huge (15GB) .mts file from my camcorder. When I try to import it, MPX5 churns for quite a while and then shows a cracked image in the media panel. Then stops. Nothing usable is imported.
Is there a limitation on the size of a .mts file I can import? Is there some sort of setting that will allow a larger file? Is this something unique to the .mts format?
If this is an MPX5 limitation, does it still exist in MPX6?
The 15GB .mts file plays perfectly with Windows Media Player.
I can successfully import .mts files of 4GB size, but have not tried any size between 4 and 15GB.
This computer has 350GB hard drive space available, 8GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, Quad fast CPU, and lots of other stuff.
Thanks for your thoughts and help.
