Again, I'm seeking help on a non serif problem.
I have often referred to the cheezburger site, and now particularly to this one :
http://icanhas.cheezburger.com/lolcats
It's the link in my signature "Funny Cats"
Using my default browser FireFox 21, at this moment, and for a few days recently, on opening this site and then scrolling down, a pop-up orange panel appears at the bottom of the page. This partly obscures the page material, and is a clickable link to a video about dunking cookies in milk.
I can't get this image to go away unless I block it by specifying the url of this panel to be blocked in the exception list of "allow images to open automatically". in FF options. And this is with the very efficient Ad Blocker enabled.
It does not appear in Opera or Chrome, but does in IE8, Avant, and Maxthon 2.5..
Now the technical help people at the cheezburger site have had quite a long correspondence with me about this, and tell me that it should not appear in the browsers for which they have optimised the site, and these are Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
They suggested I delete the cache, which I've done without effect.
Would anyone willing to help please open in Firefox the icanhas.cheezburger.com/lolcats site and check whether the orange panel appears on scrolling.
For your information, if you want to block the panel, its url is

ps I must apologise for not contributing anything to serif application topics lately. Recently, I have had no reason to publish my Newsletter of which I often speak, so I currently use PP hardly at all. I have no problems with it myself at this time, and I'm not tackling the now lengthy list of PP threads so far unread. I have the most recent PhP, but hardly use it, beyond the most elementary stuff.
So I read the general forum and the Lounge for fun.
